tribute tuesdays: george hincapie

George Hincapie is one of my all-time favorite riders of the Classics circuit. In a way, he's always been a bit of an enigma to me, because he could carry any team that he rides for, and carries as much notoriety as any of his team's lead riders. However, the man is a domestique, and arguably, the greatest alive at the moment. 14 Tour De France's - 8 of which took the final yellow, Paris Roubaix master and has countless yellow jerseys of his own. There are so many legendary riders that have benefited from his calculative hard work - Mark Cavendish, Lance Armstrong, Alberto Contador, etc.
