so, i was just thinking...

it has been 8 months, and are they still DTR?  Not quite sure if they made it, or are still "DTR" and I'm less sure if they even tried.  Either way, I was having a good day today, and this reminds me of what it means to laugh.  Just a little repost to refresh your memories:

Such is the way of the world. A couple of these kids came to my old store on the regular - one of the larger reasons on why I find it to be so hilarious.

Well, it hurts me more personally than I find it hilarious. Santa Barbara was/still-is one of the best places, IMO, to Mountain Bike in the world. It has some of the fastest downhill trails i've ever seen, and for some reason, all these kids (Read as: College Transplants), don't even know what they are missing! They instead decide to ride fixed gear bikes in a town known for it's great hills.

Listen, I live in LA now, I ride a fixed gear bike, due to the fact that it's mostly flat. I understand the appeal, but they are missing half the fun of having a geared bike and climbing some great hills, or going off road and experiencing the amazing environment that is back country of Santa Barbara, (I've seen Wild Turkeys, and it blew my mind!) one of the many reasons my parents worked so hard to raise me there, and one of the reasons I want return so badly.

When I watch this, all I see are these kids are fucking wasting it, and it eats me up inside. The world is wasted on this generation.
