more morning climbs

Last night, I carb-loaded.  This morning, I set out for my highest elevation ride yet - 10,000 feet.  The frontage road after 9k was closed, but going around the fence was no problem.  Afterwards, I was greeted with a single lane wedged between 7 feet of carved snow.  The descent was crazy - super fast, really narrow and the feeling like you're bobsledding more than cycling.  All in all, I'm getting more used to mountain riding, and my breathing techniques for the upper elevations are starting to take shape.  Fun day.
