Sadly, cycling legend, Lauren Fignon, just died after a long battle with cancer. For many American's, he'll be remembered as Greg Lemond's greatest rival (ala the infamous final stage time-trial) but he was a gracious champion of the sport with two Tour de France overall wins, one Milan San Remo & one Giro de Italia. I always admired his style, and let's face it, his look of the just-punched-out for the day dentist turned cyclist was pretty awesome. Quite sad, indeed. He was only 50 years old:
